This exquisite antique box has a hand carved shell cameo on the top.  A garland of enamel leaves frame the cameo.  There are two prong set glass stones on the top of the box.  This box is stamped, Made in France on the bottom.  It has a beveled mirror on the inside of the lid.    It is a pillbox, would also be perfect for a ring.  It measures 1 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches.   Ca. 1880.  $245.
