This lovely antique baby gown is white cotton.  The center panel has hand worked eyelot alternating with rows of narrow lace.  The bottom edge of the center panel has 4 rows of scalloped eyelot.  The cap sleeves are trimmed in eyelot as well.  This gown ties in the back.  It also has a tiny button with a hand made button hole.  There is featherstitching around the bottom edge of the bodice.  This gown is very clean and in very good condition. There are not any holes or repairs.  Shoulder to hem...39 inches.  Bottom edge of the skirt...65 inches.  Rows of tiny tucks run along the bottom edge of the skirt.  Bodice..19 inches.  This gown is from Europe.
