This is a wonderful diamond necklace from the early Victorian period.  The diamonds are set in 18k yellow gold with black enamel.  The diamonds are old rose-cuts.  The two larger diamonds have an approx. total diamond weight of 1.50cts, set with solid gold backings.  There are 27 old smaller rose-cut diamonds bezel set.  The approx. total diamond weight in this necklace is 1.77cts.  The chain is original and is stamped 585 (14k), with a maker mark and hallmarks.  The chain is a 16 inch curb chain.  The pendant measures 52 inches from top to bottom.  This antique necklace is a rare find and a true collector's piece.  Ca.1870.  $5,450.
